Stan Getz & Bill Evans (Verve, 1973)

Primo e unico disco in studio inciso dalla coppia Getz/Evans, registrato per la Verve in due sessioni, il 5 e 6 maggio del 1964 (ma pubblicato solo nel 1973). Probabilmente Stan Getz e Bill Evans non erano pienamente soddisfatti del risultato ma, pur non essendo un capolavoro, il disco è godibilissimo con dei momenti memorabili come: nell’incisiva "My Heart Stood Still" e nell’elegante "Grandfather's Waltz", tutte e due provenienti dalla prima sessione con Richard Davis al contrabbasso, oppure nella bellissima "But Beautiful" registrata il giorno seguente, con Ron Carter al posto di Davis.
